The Initial ETT Course is designed for people who have not previously completed an ETT Course or who are no longer eligible for re-registration of an expired ETT card.

This is the didactic (knowledge-based learning) of the initial ETT online course.  We hope you learn a lot from this course and that you find your learning enjoyable.

In addition to completing the learning objectives, this course prepares you to meet, you will need to complete the skill portfolio, posted in the class materials, with one of our ETT Instructors. You will need to complete all assignments and obtain a grade of 80% on the final Exam.

In addition to completing the learning objectives this course prepares you to meet, you will need to obtain your Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card (three common companies are the American Heart Association, the American Safety and Health Institute, and the American Red Cross), and work with a state-certified EMS or ETT Instructor to demonstrate competence in the ETT skills portfolio (available within this course or from the SEREMS website).
